Music Teaching
In addition to actively performing as a violinist, I offer individual lessons and group coaching. I have been a faculty member of the Austin Chamber Music Center since 2016, and also run a private studio for violin students of all ages and ability levels. My teaching method is rooted in the Suzuki Method. I have taught students all over the world (Austin, London, Istanbul, Xi'an, and Hong Kong) ages 4 through 82—I have even taught in Mandarin Chinese! Music is an incredible form of global communication, and the process of learning to play the violin fosters creativity, discipline, and self-expression. It's also social and fun! I absolutely enjoy teaching music and am eager to nurture that passion in others.
