Interview: "Aslı Şafak'la İşin Aslı"

I had such a wonderful time appearing on Bloomberg HT’s program "Aslı Şafak’la İşin Aslı," alongside the incredible long-distance swimmer Aysu Türkoğlu. We talked about my journey of adapting to life in Türkiye, learning the language and music, and the exciting process of creating my own TV show for TRT Müzik. I also got to perform two traditional Turkish pieces live on air — such a special experience! Huge thanks to Aslı Şafak and her team for the warm welcome and the chance to share my story and music.

I’m delighted to share that I was featured in the April 2025 issue of Marie Claire Türkiye on the Arts and Culture “Ajanda” page! In the interview, I talked about my musical journey, the cultural projects I’ve been part of, and the experiences that continue to inspire my work as a violinist and researcher. It was a wonderful chance to reflect on how music can connect people across traditions and communities. I’m grateful to Marie Claire Türkiye for the opportunity to share my story and projects with their readers.
