As an educational and cultural consultant, I specialize in fostering meaningful dialogue and collaboration across borders through the arts, scholarship, and cultural diplomacy.

With extensive experience working alongside governmental, educational, and non-profit institutions worldwide, I create programs that bridge traditions, inspire mutual understanding, and cultivate lasting partnerships. Drawing on my background as a scholar-musician with deep expertise in Turkey, China, and other transcultural contexts, I offer strategic guidance in curriculum development, intercultural communication, and arts-based engagement, equipping clients to navigate and connect across diverse languages, histories, and perspectives.

Music, Movement, and Creativity Workshops (2024 - present)
In partnership with the Centre for Cultural Sustainability (MIRAS) and in collaboration with experienced artist and arts educator Fırat Bingöl, I led workshops for elementary and high school students at two schools in Hatay (southeast Türkiye). As survivors of recent major earthquakes that decimated the region and claimed the lives of 55,000 people, many of these students live and attend school in shipping containers. With the goal of providing outlets for multidisciplinary creativity and helping process trauma, Fırat Bingöl and I put together workshops that incorporated movement, music, drawing, dance, and reflection. We received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the participants and their teachers and guardians, and l0ok forward to offering future iterations of the workshops in the region in the coming months.

Artistic Director, Harvard World Music Collective (2019 - 2021)
I led an ensemble of thirty world musicians from diverse musical backgrounds, from Carnatic singing to Celtic fiddling. In weekly rehearsals, I worked to help the musicians (myself included) find a common musical language to perform works from far-reaching cultures. I organized public concerts and multiple family-oriented community workshops, which entailed managing venue booking and operations, social media, and the ensemble budget.
